Chicago, IL – Three Hurt in Hit-and-Run Crash on 75th St

Chicago, IL (April 17, 2024) – Three people were transported to the hospital following an accident that occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning in the Grand Crossing neighborhood of Chicago.

Police report that an unidentified man in a Ford SUV ran a red light after midnight and collided with a Chevrolet sedan at an intersection in the 1300 block of East 75th Street. The SUV driver fled the scene of the collision. EMTs transported a female passenger who sustained serious injuries to the University of Chicago Hospital. The sedan’s driver and another passenger were also transferred to U of C with injuries, though their current conditions are unknown.
