Background

Jason was born and raised in southern Wisconsin.  His parents are retired educators and lifelong union supporters.  As a teenager, his first job was a grill cook at major fast food restaurant chain and during college he worked in a variety of service industry jobs at hotels and restaurants.  After finishing his studies in Wisconsin, he moved to Chicago to begin working in Labor Relations and Human Resources roles with different manufacturers.  While working full-time, he attended law school at night and continued working in Human Resources.  This industry experience provides Jason with an unique perspective when representing working men and women.  He understands the challenges facing working people and uses his knowledge of manufacturing to fight for workers’ rights.
